The 2023 vintage kept us on our toes. A cool season on the Sonoma Coast meant long waits in the vineyard — but at En Garde, we’ve always believed patience brings out the best in Pinot Noir. When harvest finally arrived, the fruit was stunning: fresh, balanced, and full of character. This wine is elegant yet easy to enjoy, with lower alcohol and a silky finish that makes it one of the most approachable Pinots we’ve ever crafted.

"The 2023 En Garde ‘Sonoma Coast’ Pinot Noir comes from this location in the Sonoma Coast, as well as some Carneros fruit blended in. The wine was given roughly 33% whole cluster fermentation and was stored in nearly all neutral oak barrels before bottling. This comes off very pretty and nuanced with salted guava and red raspberry tones alongside orange peel notes on the palate. Drink 2025-2035." - Owen Bargreen
