Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley has always captivated me, with its signature spicy and bright finish, juicy mid palate, and silky texture. In this particular vineyard, we’re fortunate to work with three distinct clones of Pinot Noir—115, 777, and Pommard—which not only enhance the wine’s complexity but also present a range of challenges that keep me, as the winemaker, constantly engaged and excited. It’s this dynamic interplay between the clones and the vineyard's unique terroir that makes crafting Pinot Noir such a joyful and exhilarating experience.
