"This comes from the Vines and Roses Vineyard that is over 50 years old, located on Olivet Road. This is 100% Clone 23 Pinot Noir that was given 33% whole cluster fermentation. The nose is wonderfully earthy with bright red fruits that mingle well with potpourri and shades of cinnamon and cloves. "Pale ruby-purple in color, the 2023 Pinot Noir Vines and Roses Vineyard comes bounding out with eager-to-please scents of black raspberries and black cherries, leading to suggestions of violets, anise, and tar. The medium-bodied palate delivers a great intensity of black berry flavors, supported by grainy tannins and a crisp backbone, finishing long and minerally."
